The unique thing about riding a SIDECAR is the exceptional enjoyment you get from adventuring side by side, pilot and co-pilot, working as a team. if you've not ridden a sidecar motorbike, then this is the perfect chance to try something completely new!

​The purpose of these days is to give you a better understanding about, and some first hand experience riding on, sidecar motorbike combinations, so you can see what they are really like and whether this is the type of bike for you.

For sidecar riders, we offer days to develop your off-road sidecar skills, to prepare for long distance adventure travel, including specific skills, preparation and maintenance along the way.

We also share top tips for how to get involved as an active co-pilot, and truly experience the fun of sidecar adventures, together.

Our sidecar riding days are structured as a one on one day, so you get the benefit of a personalised experience, to meet your interests, needs and level of sidecar riding experience. We normally recommend a one day or two day experience.

Surrounded by a superb range of roads and tracks, through forests, hills and valleys, our chosen range of tracks and distance is based on our assessment of your progress with riding a sidecar motorcycle.

LEARN TO RIDE A SIDECAR MOTORBIKE

  • We start with a ridden demonstration ride to give you a feeling for what this kind of machine can do.

    This is followed by an important explanation as to why sidecars are so different from riding a motorbike.

    You'll then go out for hands on riding time (starting from the basics).

    Break for lunch!

    In the afternoon we'll be building on the basic skills while riding throughout our local tracks and trails.

    Then home for a debrief and covering any unanswered questions.

    If you choose to do a second day, we will build on what you have achieved on day 1 and head out into the hills with a picnic lunch, for a real sense of what adventures by sidecar motorcycle are like.

  • Your full motorcycle driver's license.

    Light motorbike boots or hiking type boots (no enduro boots).

    Personal riding equipment.

  • A deposit up front will secure your dates, and full payment before your start experience day.

    The completed insurance form (which will be sent to you via email).

  • Our prices include tax but may be subject to according to your individual needs.
